In September 2025, LIFE.14 joined an interview conducted by the NPO Lights On Children (LOC) and photographed their conversation with NTT Docomo Business Cheo, Inc.
The photos taken by LIFE.14 were also featured in LOC’s official article.
LOC not only accepts monetary donations but also invites companies and organizations to donate used devices such as laptops, tablets, and smartphones. These devices are securely wiped and refurbished by Yokogawa Rental & Lease Corporation before being delivered to children and welfare facilities in need.
During this session, representatives from NTT Docomo Business Cheo spoke with Lights On Children about their ongoing donation of used devices since 2025.They discussed the background of their initiative, how the donation process is managed within the company, and the connection between their business operations and social contribution efforts.
Rather than simply discarding equipment that has finished its role, Docomo Business Cheo promotes the idea of “giving devices a second life for those who need them next.”This philosophy naturally aligns with the company’s mission of supporting ICT environments and reflects a sincere commitment to social responsibility.

At LIFE.14, we have long supported international organizations, NPOs, and corporations by providing technical and visual documentation for hybrid events and social initiatives. This project was another opportunity to capture a moment where one person’s goodwill becomes a bridge to another’s future.
Through this collaboration, we also pledged to donate batteries to LOC on a regular basis. In our work, we always use new batteries to ensure equipment safety and stability, which often leaves us with lightly used, high-quality batteries. Instead of disposing of them, we’ve chosen to give them new purpose by donating them where they can be reused.
This initiative reflects our core belief in “valuing resources and fostering positive cycles within society.”
For us, photography is not only about documentation—it is about capturing the emotions, relationships, and stories that connect people.Through this shoot, we are proud to have preserved the spirit of collaboration between corporations, NPOs, and individuals working together for a better society.
Please feel free to contact us with any inquiries or requests regarding photography.
