Supporting Together — The Story of LIFE.14’s Social Contribution Efforts

This year marks the 10th anniversary of LIFE.14.Over the past decade, we’ve had the privilege of supporting countless moments — from international conferences and cultural events to corporate training sessions — through our photography, livestreaming, and technical expertise.

Alongside our creative work, one value has remained at the heart of LIFE.14: a commitment to doing what we can, in our own way, to give back to society.

1. Forms of Support — Donations, Technical Cooperation, and Human Engagement

LIFE.14’s social contribution activities go beyond financial donations — they extend to sharing our skills, technology, and people’s energy in many forms.

Over the years, we have continued to support organizations dedicated to humanitarian efforts in Japan and around the world, including the Japanese Red Cross Society, Shine On! Kids, the UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees), and Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders).

Every year, approximately 10% of our company’s profit is donated to these organizations to help those working tirelessly on the frontlines of social and humanitarian challenges.

In addition to donations, we also offer technical cooperation. For example, during Médecins Sans Frontières’ recruitment campaign for medical professionals, we provided filming and livestreaming support to help spread awareness and encourage participation. Likewise, for Shine On! Kids, an organization supporting children with pediatric cancer and their families, we have contributed to charity events through video production and fundraising support — helping to inspire broader interest in donations and volunteer activities.

In recognition of these ongoing efforts, LIFE.14 received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Japanese Red Cross Society in 2025.

For us, this honor is both a moment to reflect on our past contributions and a source of encouragement to continue acting as a responsible member of society.

As a multinational team, LIFE.14’s members bring diverse cultural backgrounds and perspectives. This diversity naturally fosters a shared awareness of global issues and social challenges. Seeing events around the world as personally relevant — and striving to make a difference through our daily work — is one of the defining strengths of our team.

2. When “Supporting” Becomes Part of Our Culture

For LIFE.14, social contribution is not a special project — it is an extension of our everyday work. Standing beside our clients, understanding their needs, and finding the best way to support them — this same attitude naturally extends to how we approach society.

At the core of this mindset is a founding belief we have cherished since the beginning: “setting no boundaries.”This principle goes beyond business — it represents our continuous effort to explore any form in which we can be of help to someone.

Within LIFE.14, where members come from various nationalities and backgrounds, the way each person feels about social issues also varies — from environmental protection and gender equality to education access and disaster relief. Because of this diversity, a spirit of “let’s take the first step, no matter how small” arises naturally.

Through this culture, LIFE.14’s social contributions have not remained temporary acts of goodwill, but have become a natural and lasting part of our everyday work.

3. Toward the Next Ten Years — For a Society Where We Live Together

Over the past decade, LIFE.14 has learned the true meaning of “support.”It is not merely about providing a service — it is about building trust between people and finding ways to live together as part of a community.

In the next ten years, we aim to deepen collaboration with NPOs, NGOs, educational and medical institutions, and local organizations.Through the power of video and livestreaming, we hope to bring more visibility to the “real scenes” where social challenges are addressed — this will be our next challenge.

As a small creative team — and as members of society — we will continue to believe in the power of supporting together, walking forward hand in hand with all who share that vision.
