Over 160 people gathered for the 15th French Business Awards 2026 International Awards Photography Case Study

On Thursday, January 29, 2026, the French Business Awards 2026 and New Year's party, sponsored by the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan (CCI France Japon), were held at the Grand Hyatt Tokyo.

Now in its 15th year, the awards are a prestigious international event that recognizes companies and organizations that contribute to the development of Japan-France business. This year, over 160 people from business and management participated.

Our company was in charge of the official event photography (still photography) at this event .

Simply taking photos is not enough. What quality is required for photographing international business events?

Particularly at international events, photographs are used over the long term as official company records and external documents, so the ability to reliably capture scenes that cannot be retaken is essential.

We checked the schedule in advance and understood the stage positions and award ceremony flow before filming. Due to the nature of an international awards ceremony, we were unable to re-shoot the moment the awards were presented or the stage was taken. On the day, we focused on reading the flow of the ceremony and making sure we captured all the necessary shots .

1. Accurate recording of award ceremony

We captured every detail of the event, from the winners' appearance on stage, to the trophy presentation, handshakes, and commemorative photos. We delivered images that can be easily used for not only keeping as official records, but also posting on the web and creating materials.

2. VIP and guest photography

We photographed top executives and important people from Japan and overseas in a natural and dignified manner, avoiding excessive staging and creating business visuals that emphasized trustworthiness.

3. Visualization of the atmosphere throughout the venue

In order to convey the value of the entire event, we shot wide-angle shots that took into consideration the scale of the venue, lighting effects, and the enthusiasm of the participants.

4. Networking and New Year's Party Atmosphere Photography

Not only formal ceremonies but also social interactions are important materials, and we carefully recorded moments of natural communication.

I aimed to capture the interaction in a natural way and take photos that convey the dynamism of the Japanese-French business community.
