[Online distribution] What is the difference between Zoom data delivery and original data delivery?

Updated: Oct 8

LIFE.14's online distribution plan offers two data delivery plans.

This time, we will explain the differences between LIFE.14's data delivery plans.

Online Distribution How will the distribution data be used?

After online distribution, there may be cases where the streamed video will be used for other purposes.

for example

・Save as internal documents

(Archives, saves for future events, saves as reference for new clients, etc.)

・Reuse as on-demand distribution

There are various ways to utilize it.

The data plan delivered will vary depending on how you use the data.

LIFE.14 offers two data delivery plans.

LIFE.14 Two Data Delivery Plans

1.Zoom data delivery

This plan is recommended if you want to use the video immediately. The data will be delivered to you within one day of distribution.

2.Delivery of original data

This plan delivers the original camera data instead of the data distributed via Zoom. Recommended for those who want to save in high quality or archive distribution.

The data will be delivered approximately one week after distribution.

Compare two data sets numerically

We compared the resolution and bitrate values of videos delivered via Zoom data and those delivered using the original data.

Compare the two data sets by resolution

What is Resolution?

The number of pixels per unit area. The more pixels there are, the more detail can be expressed, resulting in a higher quality video.

In case of Zoom data delivery

640p x 360p

In case of original data delivery

1920p x 1080p (Full HD)

Comparing the two data sets by bit rate

What is Bitrate?

The amount of data that can be transferred and processed in one second. It is expressed in bits per second (bps). The higher the value, the more data can be transferred, resulting in higher image quality.

Zoom data ( 640p x 360p )

Around 400 to 50 kbps

Original data ( 1920p x 1080p )

Around 4000kbps

A higher bit rate results in higher image quality, but it also takes longer to process the data, which can result in slower playback times or choppy video depending on your network environment.
